On Christmas Eve, while most were winding down for the holidays, Nancy, Jon, and Ken sat down to finalize a CPA peer review. It wasn’t glamorous — but it was meaningful; two firms came together with one shared vision:

To make accounting more impactful, efficient, and collaborative — especially for mission driven not-for-profits and the firms that support them.

We also re-affirmed our commitment to help other community-based CPA firms via the peer review process and that is where we focus our knowledge.

We serve not-for-profits, tax-exempt organizations, and small CPA firms — especially those navigating peer review.

Why?

Because these organizations are doing vital work, and they deserve experienced, reliable partners behind them. And no firm should go through a peer review alone.

"We believe in helping the helpers — and building a firm that creates opportunities for others."

Fundamentally, we merged because working together made us stronger. We could:

Deliver more value to clients without increasing fees

Share technology and systems for greater efficiency

Support each other’s teams and expertise

Expertise

We have years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and that is where focus our knowledge. We solve complex problems with clarity and agility.

Quality

We hold ourselves to the highest standards — because mission-driven organizations deserve nothing less.

Efficiency

We embrace automation, smart systems, and proven processes to do more — with less stress and fewer resources.

Growth

We invest in the development of our team, our clients, and the tools that move everyone forward.

Certified Women-Owned Business

The firm is a certified women-owned business in Massachusetts, and New York. In Massachusetts, the firm has been certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance Operational Services Division’s Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) as a women-owned business. In New York, the firm has been certified by the Small Business Certification Unit.

We succeed, in part, because of our clients who are committed to hiring and supporting a women-owned business. They remain our clients because of the in depth and consistent service that we provide to them.

Knowledge Building and Sharing

Our partners and staff team have devoted our careers to knowing the not-for-profit financial space, yet instead of keeping all of that expertise in-house, we freely share our knowledge to our clients, to the not-for-profit community at large, and even to other accounting firms.

We embrace an open-source model of sharing. If you need it and we have it, consider it yours. We have built up a warehouse of knowledge and experience which is part of the service we provide.
